Can anyone recommend a good DVD player that I can send in the headrest in my car for my son to see in car trips? I've been reading mixed reviews and wanted to get some opinions on the brands that look good.

Can you put a DVD player in a car with steering wheel stereo controls??
I have a Lincoln LS with the volume and stereo controls on the steering wheel. I am wanting to put a DVD player and screen where my stereo unit is. I don’t want it to mess up the volume controls on my steering wheel though. Is there anyway of doing this without messing them up or will I just have to cancel out these controls in order to install a DVD player and screen??
There are many different companies that make interfaces to work with indash units. I would talk to your local Car stereo shop. They can tell you what model number you need. But yes it is possible.

I have a 2002 Chevy Venture. It has the stock dvd player that has audio video input jacks. Is there such a thing as a tv tuner that can plug in to the audio video jacks to pick up over the air television? I’ve looked around a little, but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a Sony car CDX320 MP3 player, which has a auxillary port. Is it possible to connect this to USB port.?
My Sony CDX 320 MP3 player for car has only auxillary port. I would like to know if it is possible to play Pen drive through this. If yes then how?
Ah, yes – got one like it – no you cannot connect a USB port to a 3.5 mm stereo jack – you also need a 5 volt rail to run the USB.
And I doubt it would succeed anyway. (a thought for inventors…..)

There generally are 2 different types of car DVD player setups available nowadays.
Original appliances manufacturers or OEM players come with the cars straight from the factory while O.E.M players can be acquired in a number of different ways and then installed in the car.

What can I do to stop the dvd player mounted to the roof of my car from vibrating?
I’m pretty sure the dvd player in my car is not factory. It vibrates a lot when I’m driving and is seriously annoying. I tried tightening the screws but it did not help. I took it to a professional who did not have any good ideas to stop the vibrating. He said because of the sunroof he couldn’t add a bracket to the top of it.
I’m really just looking for some sort of cushioning to put in between the dvd player and the roof of the car. If anyone has any ideas or can put me on to a product I’d really appreciate it.
