Name brand VS China brand…Which one should I go with?

Im looking to get a new stereo for my car and i cant decide wich one to go with.

Always go for the name brand when the other option is China-made.

Almost every case, the Chinese made product is a copy of something else with cost cutting methods such as cheaper materials and less skilled production methods.

I need help installing a JVC stereo in my car?

JVC KD-radio and the car is HDR30 is 2004 chevy malibu classic. i tried to install, but the power is not presented, but I'm still and cds can insert removal. i check in the trouble shooting page and that check in the yellow wire and I did not have juice.

Your answer is very simple (well, not really) The radio is probably fine and that most likely connected all cables correctly. Although the problem is that with the new GM vehicles, the ignition wire (red) does not put a total of 12 volts. Your radio needs to turn 12 volts. The CD can still drive because the radio has a feature that lets you insert and eject CD's with the car off. In that case, the cable is constant (yellow) to solve the problem, have to run a new power cable or find an adapter that can be used behind the radio that will give you switched 12 volts. Running your own power cable will certainly be the cheapest route. All you need is about 5 meters of cable and wire tap. If you need further assistance, send me an email.

Hyundai Veracruz and the stereo power problems?

I love my new Veracruz, but two annoying issues that I would like some information on ignition: It takes too many turns of the motor to start the veracruz. About 80% of the time will not start unless you try it a second time. My dealer checked out but can not find any fault with the starter motor. I think I might have something to do with the fuel line, but also ruled out. Radio: Am I radion change the settings (bass / treble, etc.) and then turn off the car to restart lose these values and a return to the old. This also occurs with radio stations and CD tracks. Installing new car speakers into toyota, but keeping factory stereo- good idea?

For my moms birthday I want to get her some new speakers installed into her 2007 toyota tacoma.

It will sound better, just look for speakers with high sensitivity ratings, and lower RMS ratings, I would say stay under 45 – 50 Watts RMS if you are not planning to amp them. that would make a lot more sense, and no it won’t blow your amplifier. it can handle a 4 ohm load, it just won’t push as much power as it would in a 2 ohm load.

Im getting an error code 0×80070052 while trying to put music on my SD card. HELP!?

I got a new stereo in my car that can use an SD card. So I bought an SD card and a converter drive to put music on the card. I was clicking on the songs from MP3 Suite and dragging them to the drive file in “My Computer”. Everything was going great when all of a sudden an error code came up that said “error 0×80070052″. I was able to get about 111 songs on the card with TONS of room to spare. It says I have 1.35 GB left of memory. So I thought maybe there was a limit to the number of songs I could put on it. So I deleted one of the songs and tried to put a different one on the card. No dice. But I was able to put the song I deleted back on the card. According to the card container info, I should get roughly 350 songs on the card if not more. Whats going on? Should I be able to get more songs? What am I doing wrong? All the connections are on properly and the blue light on the Converter is on. PLEASE HELP!!!

Try formatting the card and putting the songs back again. But this time try taking 10 songs at a time and making sure they work. You may have a corrupted file in one of your 111 songs.

Do I have to create an Autoplay file in order to have an mp3 CD auto-start in a car stereo that plays mp3 CDs?

I’m making some mp3 CD’s and did not know if I had to create a playlist, bat file, and autoplay file in order to have the CD start playing when it is inserted into a car stereo system that plays mp3 CDs.

Without knowing the model of the car stereo, it’s hard to say.

So… why not just create all 3 (playlist, autorun.inf, and .bat)?? That won’t hurt anything. Then, the stereo will simply read what it has to and start playing.
